About the Role
We are seeking a creative, driven Marketing Intern to join our team and assist with public relations, social media and marketing efforts. This role provides hands-on experience in media relations, content creation, and campaign management. Ideal candidates will have a passion for digital marketing, a keen understanding of social media trends, and a strong interest in PR strategies. In this role, you will contribute directly to enhance Herring Global’s brand presence, engage with audiences, and achieve our goals through marketing campaign activities across an omnichannel business model.
What you will do

Adopt the voice of Herring Global in order to craft out social media captions, articles, bylines for media and more

Capture and showcase the company culture during exciting events that you will have the opportunity to be a part of - as part of the content creation process

Curate content creation on websites, social media, eDMs, sales collateral, press releases and media pitches to maximize engagement and sales

Ideate, storyboard and produce video content. Actively pitch generate left field creative ideas

Collaboration with industry influencers and key opinion leaders to drive brand awareness

Plan and execute digital marketing strategy through SEM/SEO/SMM campaigns

Measure effectiveness and ROI of all digital marketing activities

Who Should Apply?
We are looking for candidates who:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field

Keen interest in Digital asset space

Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Medium, X, Discord etc.)

Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and content creation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Creative mindset with attention to detail

Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn

Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and company objectives.

Pro-active team player capable of adapting to their environment

Previous experience in marketing, PR, or social media management internships or personal projects are an advantage but not required

Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) are an advantage but not required
Additional Information

This is a full-time 12 week internship role starting in May 2025

The role is based on-site in Singapore
